My elder sister came back hometown from Singapore yesterday morning, so I went to Medan to pick her up, and also to spend one night in Medan.
I met a lot of Moliuers in Gelato Bar. It’s kinda strange to meet up in an unfamiliar setting. Normally we all meet for lunch, or dinner, in a restaurant, or in Fanny’s. But this time it’s in a cafe in Medan. I can tell everyone of them is so busy back in here, some with friends, some with food, some with family.
Then joined another group of friends in Tea Garden, a newly-opened Chinese restaurant. Food was pretty good, ambience was alright, but a bit too noisy. The high ceiling and the tile flooring echoes the thousand voices of the patron. It’s good as hanging out place for a bunch of talkative people. After dinner, me and xhen went for a quick photohunt in front of Merdeka Walk and near the water fountain somewhere in the city.
Medan is as hot as has been, and will always be. Somehow, I start to miss Melbourne already. But I heard that Melbourne is also experiencing a long week of hot weather these days.
