Chinese New Year is just around the corner now. This year I’ll spend it with my parents and sisters. In Indonesia! Yes, I’m going back this Sunday early morning for around two weeks. And I’ve been busy doing chores at home in the evening for the past few days. Need to take care quite a number of things before I can go vacation with peace of mind.
This morning, I woke up late, and when I got up, no one’s at home no more. Rushed a bit, then off to work. Thinking that today (and tomorrow) will be the last day I’ll be driving my car around before CNY, I decided to have my car washed. So, on the way to work, I stopped by Brighton Toyota, eventhough I was already running late. Hahaha. Luckily the queue wasn’t long, and I was able to get out of there in 7 minutes.
Twenty minutes before I reached office, the rain started. Damn! This is the second time this year that it rained right after I had my car wash. But it’s alright, I told myself. At least it is still cleaner than before the carwash.
Ten minutes from my office, there was grass mowing work on the side of the road, and it went for about 1km long. Thanks to the wind (and the rain), one side of my car is dirty again. Sigh! C’est la vie.
