Give Blood. Blood Give.

I volunteered for blood donation today. It was organised by my company. It was my first time donating blood. And it was my first time too seeing how the big needle pricked the vein on my left arm, and filling the bloodbag with 500ml of fresh red blood in ten minutes time. But look at the bright side; free cookies, free candy, free orange juice, extra-long break from office during working hours, and help saving other people’s life. That painful stinging feeling on my left arm that I still feel right now, really worth it.
