Day 1: In KL

Day 1: In KL

Touched down in LCC Terminal in KL at 7am this morning. I suspect dodgy Optus forgot to activate my SIM card’s international roaming.

The flight was a bit below my expectation: everything is money-making opportunity for AirAsia, my carrier. Luggage allowance, instant reheated meal, blanket and amenities (although apparently they didn’t have any available to anyone), morning beverage, in-flight entertainment. The airplane itself is actually quite new. The seat suits more for kids with small bum, than adults. But that’s what you get from budget airlines. Expecting them to offer you free drink on a AUD800 return flight is a bit too much.

Once Kelly picked me up, we went for a quick brekky near her place: mamak nasi lemak, mee goreng, and ten tarik.

In the afternoon, we headed to Sunway Pyramid mall, then Bukit Bintang hunting for new Tokina lens that I’ve been wanting. None of the store have it. Damn!

By the time we finished dinner: Bak Kut Teh in Subang, it’s already 9ish. Came back home, took a nice refreshing shower, then write this short blog.

Time to get rest, and be ready for my next (and ultimate destination: Siantar). C u later.
