Mistaken

Mistaken

I bought a can of chilli tuna in IGA Express for my lunch this morning. Just as I stepped into the store, the store attendant gave me a big smile, as if we’ve known each other. Then she’s also the one who served me when I checked out with a can of John West tuna in my hand. Then I noticed a lady standing beside her kept staring at me, and try to grab my attention. When I looked at her, she told this girl serving me, "He used to work here. Yeah, you used to work here, right?". I was surprised why she said that. And I politely said no. Then she said, "Hmm.. but you look like…". And she mentioned a guy name. Then the girl serving me said "No, I know that guy. He is not." Well yeah, I’m not whichever the guy they mean. I also told them I have a few friends who used to work in that store.

It’s just funny how I could be mistaken for a random guy who worked in IGA Collins St. After all, it was an interesting Thursday morning for me.
